  • Retro Sours are returning to Target with four new flavors: Watermelon, Passionfruit, Raspberry, and Mango.
  • The new release follows a previous Target launch that sold quickly.
  • Iconic Candy says the expanded lineup was driven by customer demand for more flavors.

Target’s candy section is about to get a little sharper. Retro Sours are back with four new flavors—Watermelon, Passionfruit, Raspberry, and Mango—but there’s one important detail to note: you’ll only be able to get them for five weeks.

The expanded flavor drop comes from Iconic Candy, the company behind the nostalgia-driven line, and follows the brand’s earlier Target launch in November. That first run brought Retro Sours back to shelves in three flavors and disappeared so fast that the company is already back with more.

According to the brand, the expanded lineup is a direct response to that customer demand, which happened as quickly as it did. With the earlier drop sold through in just a matter of weeks, this follow-up seems aimed at people who missed out the first time, as well as anyone ready to stock up again.

“We’ve been hearing it nonstop—customers have been begging for more Retro Sours flavors at Target,” Iconic Candy co-founder Kim Wiesen said in the announcement. “So we gave it to them. This expansion is directly driven by our fans and what they want to see on shelves.”

This time around, the lineup leans into a wider mix of fruit flavors—some classic, some a little less expected—joining the Target assortment. Altogether, it feels less like a one-off restock and more like the brand trying to prove the comeback has some legs.

“We’re creating moments, not just products,” Wiesen added. “If you see them in-store, grab them—because once they’re gone, they’re gone.”

So if you were one of the people who missed the first restock, or if you just like your candy with a little more bite, you’ve got another shot. Just not a very long one.
