  • McDonald’s is updating its McValue Menu with additional offerings, including breakfast deals and an under $3 menu.
  • In addition to the current Meal Deals, the chain will now offer a $4 breakfast deal that comes with a choice between 2 breakfast sandwiches, along with hashbrowns and coffee.
  • The Under $3 Menu will rotate throughout the year, offering select menu items for cheaper during a limited time, like a $1.50 Sausage McMuffin.

One of the biggest problems with fast food has become its continuously rising prices. Once upon a time, you could get a whole meal for under $5, with change to spare. Now, a Big Arch burger from McDonald’s alone can set you back more than $10 in some states. But it seems as though Mickey D’s is listening to consumer complaints—the chain is entering a new phase with its McValue Menu, offering more options and cheaper deals beginning April 21.

According to the Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer of McDonald’s USA, Alyssa Buetikofer, the new and improved menu “offers more choice, more flexibility, and more ways to build a meal that fits their day and budget.”

The Meal Deals currently available as a part of the McValue Menu aren’t going anywhere, but now customers will have more options to choose from—you can order a McChicken Meal Deal for just $5 or a McDouble Meal Deal for $6, each of which comes accompanied by 4-piece McNuggets, small fries, and a small soft drink.

With this updated menu, customers can now snag a breakfast deal for just $4 that includes their choice of a Sausage McMuffin or Sausage Biscuit, along with hash browns and a small McCafé Premium Roast Coffee.

Last but not least, McDonald’s is rolling out an Under $3 menu, available all day and allowing customers to mix and match their favorite menu items. According to the chain, at least 10 menu items will be available throughout the day at a better price for a limited time. To kick it all off, fans can enjoy the Sausage McMuffin for just $1.50 and the McDouble for $2.50. Talk about a steal!
