- Bath & Body Works just launched its new Rooted spring collection, inspired by homesteading, slow living, and food-forward scents.
- One standout item is the new 3-Wick Homemade Sourdough Candle, which features notes of freshly baked sourdough, olive oil drizzle, and whipped butter.
- Fans are already excited about the bread-inspired scent, while more candles, body care, soaps, and home decor are rolling out this month.
There’s truly nothing like the smell of freshly baked bread. And apparently Bath & Body Works agrees, because the brand is leaning hard into food-inspired scents with its new spring collection, Rooted. According to Bath & Body Works, the collection “is inspired by the rise of slow living, homesteading, and food-forward rituals that continue to dominate social feeds.” At the forefront is a 3-Wick Homemade Sourdough Candle.
With a clever nod to the internet’s (and none other than Taylor Swift’s) sourdough obsession, the new candle launched today—the 13th, fittingly!), and promises the homey, cozy scent of fresh-baked bread without any of the effort. Fans online are dying to get their hands—and nostrils—on it, with comments like, “I need this!!!” and “I want this one so bad!”
One shopper wrote, “Really looking forward to this one,” while another made a compelling case for more bakery-inspired home fragrances in general: “More brands need to offer fresh baked bread scents!!”
Bath & Body Works describes the candle as having notes of freshly baked sourdough, olive oil drizzle, and whipped butter, which is enough to have me salivating. The rest of the Rooted collection includes similarly tempting scents like Carrot & Nectarine, Spring Apple, Strawberry Pound Cake, Off The Vine, and Cinnamon Sugar Coffee Cake, among others.
Right now, the collection includes candles and body care, with soaps and home decor set to roll out on March 23.
