So if you’re the kind of person who always checks the merch wall before the menu, Starbucks’ new spring drop is very much worth a look.
Starting March 3, participating Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada are getting two new spring merchandise collections: one inspired by matcha and another built around cherry blossoms.
The Matcha Collection leans into different shades of green inspired by the drink itself—from lighter creamy foam tones to deeper matcha powder hues. Starbucks says matcha has been served in its coffeehouses for more than 20 years, and the collection is meant to reflect both the ritual and the fandom around it.
That lineup includes a matcha splatter mug, matcha glass cold cup, glass rippled cup, rippled matcha mug, botanical glass mug, botanical stainless steel cold cup, and Dream in Green stainless tumbler.
Then there’s the Cherry Blossom Collection, which pulls from designs created for Starbucks coffeehouses in Asia Pacific and goes all in on soft pink floral spring imagery. It includes a cherry blossom cold cup, two cherry blossom tumblers, a pink gradient cold cup with a flower straw topper, a cherry blossom Bearista keychain, and a cherry blossom enamel pin set.
In other words, if you were just planning to grab a coffee, maybe don’t make eye contact with the merch wall.
