  • Señorita has launched 1777, a new non-alcoholic hemp-derived THC spirit in a 750 mL bottle.
  • Each 1.5-ounce serving contains 10 mg of hemp-derived THC.
  • The agave-based spirit is flavored with Mexican lime, dragon fruit, chili extract, and Acapulco Gold terpenes.

THC in a can has fully taken over, covering ground just about everywhere you look. As Delish’s own Amanda Mactas recently put it, the category has actually gotten so crowded that it can be hard to know where to start if you want something alcohol-free in hand. But in a sea of lookalike cans, there’s a new agave-forward girl on the block—and she’s showing up in a shiny glass bottle.

THC margarita brand Señorita is expanding beyond its canned line with 1777, a new non-alcoholic hemp-derived THC spirit. Instead of handing you something already mixed and ready to crack open, this one is clearly going after the person who still wants the ritual of pouring something over ice to make a real cocktail (and, ya know, maybe feeling at least a little bit elegant while doing it).

The bottle holds 750 mL, and each 1.5-ounce pour has 10 milligrams of hemp-derived THC. Flavor-wise, the base is agave with Mexican lime, dragon fruit, a touch of chili, and Acapulco Gold terpenes layered in, giving it a spot in that super familiar margarita-adjacent world while still giving it a chance to stand out on its own.

Co-founder Joel Gott says people had been asking for more ways to drink THC, and something spirit-like that’s much, much easier to work into a normal cocktail routine was their answer. And as for the name, 1777 references the year hemp cultivation expanded more widely across the New World.

Whether that actually means much to the average person standing in front of a shelf is a whole other story. What does feel more notable, however, is that THC drinks keep moving further away from just canned seltzers and canned mocktails. And once every possible ranch water, seltzer, and faux-margarita can has hit the market, of course the next move is a bottle you can line up on a bar cart and pour into something nice.

Whether that feels elegant, unnecessary, or a little bit both probably depends on your relationship with THC—and if you’re like me, how much room you still have on your liquor shelf.
