As Delish’s resident Trader Joe’s girlie, I’m always scouring the shelves at my local store for new and exciting items as soon as they hit. With Easter and Passover now behind us, spring is starting to show up, both outside and in the grocery store. There’s always an impressive lineup of new product every time I mosey in, so naturally, I pick up pretty much each and every one—you know, for journalism. After all, how can I be a definitive source on all things TJ’s if I don’t try every product?
Luckily, it’s not hard to narrow the store’s offerings down to my very favorites. I have discerning taste buds, after all. After trying all of the fun new food products that have landed on store shelves over the past month, it’s safe to say that if you ask me, or any other Trader Joe’s obsessive on the internet, these are the ones worth stocking up on.
Blonde Bar
Trader Joe’s recently rolled out its Blonde Bar, and I’ve rarely been more pleasantly surprised. As someone who is quite opposed to white chocolate, this caramel-flavored white chocolate bar really shook me. The addition of sugar cookie crumbles adds a lovely crunch, too. Anyone with a sweet tooth will want to pick this one up.

Garlic Butter Nut Mix
People are fiending over this new nutty snack mix. “I bought a can of them today. I ate a can of them today. I cannot buy anymore. It would be unfair to all of you,” one shopper posted on Reddit. “They’re gonna have to lock me up to keep me away from these bad boys,” another fan wrote.
Inside the can, you’ll find a mix of almonds, cashews, pecans, and bread chips all coated in a garlic butter seasoning.
Dark Chocolate Covered Bon Bon Cookies
Think of these as a more chocolatey version of a Mallomar. You’ve got decadent chocolate mousse layered on top of a crunchy cookie, all wrapped in an outer chocolate shell. The result is one delicious bite that’s just enough to satisfy your daily chocolate fix.
Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites
The internet is blowing up over these, with people saying they might be one of Trader Joe’s bestdessertsof all time… and honestly, that tracks. What’s not to love about an ice cream cookie dough combination?
People are scooping these up by the bag. One shopper wrote in a Reddit thread, “I can’t wait to go back and grab like 10 more bags. They’re so good.” Another added, “I ate half the bag for breakfast. I don’t even like sweets…” It’s safe to say that no bag is safe from our cookie-dough-loving hands.
Korean Bugak Sticky Rice and Seaweed Crisps
As someone who usually finds seaweed a little too salty and fishy, this snack really wowed me. It’s perfectly crispy and delicious on its own, but I can imagine it being a really great vehicle for dips and spreads, too. “I opened the bag to try one and they were gone by the time I got home!” one shopper wrote on Reddit.
Whipped Carrot Cake Cream Cheese Spread
As one person succinctly put it, “Joe, you’ve done it again.” While the sweet-and-savory concept may make you raise an eyebrow at first, customers are overwhelmingly enjoying this new spread. “OBSESSED. It’s so good. It has a lot of the spices used in TJs pumpkin ice cream, and it’s absolutely wonderful,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “SO GOOD on cinnamon raisin toast since it’s not too sweet,” suggested another.
Stuffed Poblano Peppers
Trader Joe’s new Stuffed Poblano Peppers come filled with rice, chicken, and corn, and are topped with melted cheese and a creamy cilantro sauce. “I made these in the toaster oven it was so good!!” one shopper commented on an Instagram review. The initial reviewer scored them a 9 out of 10, and plenty of people in the comments seemed to agree. One caveat, though: some shoppers found them a bit spicy, so consider yourself warned.
