  • Starbucks is bringing back the Unicorn Frappuccino for Coachella 2026.
  • The drink will only be available at the Starbucks Coffeehouse at Coachella for a few hours each day.
  • It will not be sold at regular Starbucks locations.

Leave it to festival season to bring back a drink that looks like it was made to match a flower crown.

Starbucks just announced that the Unicorn Frappuccino is returning for Coachella 2026, where the company will serve as the festival’s official coffee, tea, and Refreshers sponsor. The catch is that this is not a full-blown menu comeback. The drink will only be available at the Starbucks Coffeehouse at Coachella, and only for a few hours each day during both festival weekends, April 10 through 12 and April 17 through 19.

So yes, the Unicorn Frappuccino is coming back. But only if you happen to be in the desert.

For those who don’t know what’s in it, the drink starts with a mango-syrup cream base and gets layered with a blue sour drizzle made from a white mocha and classic syrup mix, plus pink powder. It’s topped with whipped cream and finished with a tangy blue-and-pink powder dusting. Starbucks went ahead and described it in the most extra way possible: “An emblem of color, and the festival’s free-spirited energy, the beverage’s bold hues and unexpected flavor twists mirror the creativity and individuality celebrated across the festival grounds, making it a must-have accessory for festivalgoers looking to sip something as vibrant and unforgettable as the weekend itself.”

The Starbucks Coffeehouse will be open to all festival attendees throughout both weekends as a place to cool off and grab a drink. Along with the limited return of the Unicorn Frappuccino, the space will also include other cold drinks for attendees, with Starbucks offering a mix that includes Cold Brew, Iced Matcha Latte, and Strawberry Acai Refresher, while ready-to-drink products will be sold elsewhere around the grounds.

Starbucks says the drink will not be sold at regular stores because it relies on ingredients that aren’t part of the standard coffeehouse setup, which makes this more of a one-location revival than a true nationwide comeback.

Good news for anyone already planning a weekend in Indio. Less exciting for the rest of us, who now have to accept that the Unicorn Frappuccino is back, just not in a way that’s especially helpful.
