  • One of the most exclusive events of the year—the Masters Club Dinner—just unveiled its menu.
  • Last year’s Masters tournament winner, Rory McIlroy, got to select the menu.
  • It combines McIlroy’s favorites from Georgia and around the world.

I might not know a lot about golf, but I do know a lot about food. Every year during the Masters Tournament, the Champions Dinner—officially known as the Masters Club Dinner—is hosted by the previous year’s champion. The exclusive event has been held annually since 1952, when Ben Hogan started the tradition, and is attended only by past Masters winners and the Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club, where it takes place.

This year’s fete is hosted by Rory McIlroy—and most importantly, the menu has just been revealed. The evening will begin with an array of appetizers, including Peach & Ricotta Flatbread, Rock Shrimp Tempura, Bacon-Wrapped Dates, and Grilled Elk Sliders.

Following apps, diners get three courses, starting with Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio and followed by the diner’s choice of either Wagyu Filet Mignon or Seared Salmon. Sticky Toffee Pudding topped with vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce serves as the finale to the evening.

Each course is accompanied by a thoughtful wine pairing, including champagne to start and a bold Bordeaux to finish. According to the PGA, the menu was inspired by McIlroy’s Northern Ireland upbringing, blending his favorite Georgia classics with his all-time favorites from around the world.

As one person dutifully questions on the social media post unveiling the menu, “How does one sneak in?”
