  • Pizza Hut is looking for a paid Hut Crust Connoisseur to taste-test crust and review new pizza innovations.
  • The selected fan will get $31,415.92 plus free pizza for a year.
  • The launch also coincides with Pizza Hut’s new Hut Crust platform, a refreshed Hand-Tossed recipe, and a $10 large three-topping pizza deal.

Look, I like my job. One of the perks of working at Delish is that eating is, quite literally, part of the assignment. But a dedicated paid gig for munching on pizza? Well, well, well. I’m listening.

Pizza Hut is now looking for a Hut Crust Connoisseur, which is a very official-sounding title for someone whose assignment is basically: eat pizza, focus on the crust, and have thoughts. The company is framing it as a real paid project for the fan who feels strongest about the outer edge of the pie, not just what’s happening in the middle.

And yes, the payout is real: $31,415.92, plus free pizza for a year.

To throw your hat in the ring, you have to try Pizza Hut’s updated Hand-Tossed pizza, post an Instagram review using the required contest tags, and then submit that post through the campaign site. Applications are open from March 11 through March 25, so this is very much a limited window for people who have always believed crust deserves more respect.

The whole thing is tied to Pizza Hut’s new Hut Crust campaign. As part of it, they’re putting extra attention on its Hand-Tossed crust, which it says has been refreshed for the first time in more than a decade. The updated version is meant to be lighter and airier, while still keeping that familiar Pizza Hut softness.

To round out the push, Pizza Hut is also running a $10 large three-topping pizza offer on Hand-Tossed, Tavern Style, or Thin ‘N Crispy crust.

If you’ve ever been the person defending the last bite as the best bite, Pizza Hut would like a word.
