Heinz Launches A Gravy Squeeze Bottle For Leftovers

  • Heinz launched Leftover Gravy in a squeeze bottle, bundled in limited Leftover Gravy Kits on Walmart.com.
  • The kits include a jar of Homestyle Turkey Gravy, the squeeze bottle, and a leftovers sandwich recipe card.
  • Heinz nods to the Friends “Moist Maker,” celebrating day-after sandwich culture with easy, mess-free gravy.

Heinz is leaning hard into the leftovers era with a new Heinz Leftover Gravy in a condiment-style squeeze bottle designed for the Day-After sandwich of your dreams. Yes, it’s “Moist Maker”-coded—and Heinz knows it.

The brand teased the bottle with a wink to Friends, then rolled it out as part of a limited-edition Heinz Leftover Gravy Kit on Walmart.com. The kits include: a 12-ounce jar of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy, a first-ever squeezable bottle labeled for leftovers (you pour your gravy into it), and a recipe card for the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich.” The first drop sold out fast, with more small drops promised through the week while supplies last.

Why a gravy bottle now? “While Heinz Gravy has always been a fan favorite on the Thanksgiving table, we decided to focus our attention on the day after ritual—because we all know leftovers are the best part and our unmistakably rich and smooth gravy makes them that much better,” said Jamie Mack, Associate Director of Brand Communications for Heinz U.S. Mack adds, “Now, Heinz is celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich by providing the key to a delicious day-after sandwich: Heinz Leftover Gravy.”

Functionally, there’s no ladle-required gymnastics, and it’s perfect for hitting every layer of turkey, stuffing, and cranberry in one squeeze. It’s also pure pop-culture bait; the Moist Maker has lived rent-free in millennial brains since Monica Geller’s masterpiece came to life in 1998.

Despite its current sold-out status, Heinz insists this isn’t the last we’ve seen of the Leftover Gravy Kit. If you refresh enough times and catch a glimpse, I’d move fast. But if your hand is deep in a turkey cavity somewhere, a jar and a clean squeeze bottle from your pantry can still get you close.
