This recipe combines Jiffy mix, creamed corn, and whole corn for a rich, tender base. It’s an award-winning recipe that the recipe author, Janice Anderson, says traces back to a retro Arizona newspaper.
“Fed this to my husband and brother in law and they could not get enough of it,” says Marilyn Sparnicht. “It was really that good and satisfied our taste buds!!”
Cheesy Amish Breakfast Casserole
Allrecipes / Abbey Littlejohn
Bacon, onion, eggs, hash browns, and lots of cheese make this traditional breakfast casserole yummy and extremely hearty.
“This has been my go-to recipe for a long time (it was originally posted long ago). It is delicious as it stands, but is so adaptable,” says Deborah Schmidt. “I often make this on a Sunday morning and cut the leftovers in squares and refrigerate or freeze, to be eaten during the week or later.”
Creamy Pepperoncini Chicken
fabeveryday
This skillet recipe is a surprising weeknight hit. You can swap starches to use orzo, potatoes, past or rice, but creamy sauce, pepperoncinis, and chicken make it stand out every time.
“This was easy to make and very tasty. My wife and I liked the spiciness and the heat, of this dish,” says Erik Kozman. “If you don’t like heat, then reduce the red pepper, as you still get heat from the pepperoncini… This definitely goes well with crusty bread.”
Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Bubble Up
Peyton Beckwith
This cheesy chicken broccoli bubble up layers flaky biscuits with Cheddar cheese, chicken in a creamy sauce, broccoli, and a final layer of cheese; the biscuits rise and bubble up through it all.
Million Dollar Soup Recipe
Peyton Beckwith
This “million dollar” soup lives up to its name—you’ll feel like you’ve stumbled upon a fortune. Creamy, cheesy, rich, and savory, it conveniently uses rotisserie chicken as the base.
“Made this recipe and it was outstanding! Had some leftover Costco rotisserie chicken so I didn’t quite have all of the chicken I needed,” says NimbleGril8677. “My husband loved it all! He said, ‘that’s not a soup, that’s a stew–very filling!’ Keeping this recipe.”
