Costco members, brace yourselves: A new cookie has just hit the bakery department.

Besides home essentials like toothpaste and toilet paper, the warehouse also offers an extensive selection of treats that we technically don’t need. But the desserts at the bakery are always too good to pass up. And now, reports are rolling in about the newest bakery item appearing at Costco locations across the country—and I’m already scheduling my next shopping trip.

Costco is officially selling Sweet & Salty Cookies, which come in a pack of two dozen for $10.99. They’ve already been spotted in warehouses in Texas and Michigan, so it’s only a matter of time before they’re available nationwide.

The cookies are made with the same brown-butter dough that Costco uses for other flavors, like Peanut Butter Monster and Marshmallow Crispy. The soft, chewy cookies have a toasty, nutty flavor from the brown butter, but the real magic is in the toppings. Each cookie is studded with semisweet chocolate chips, salted caramel bits, and caramel-glazed pretzel pieces.

Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds says this dessert “exceeded [her] expectations,” and described it as “soft, chewy, sweet, salty, and so good.” And based on social media reactions, it appears that other members are as happy about the new cookie as Lamb is.

One Instagram user noted that the new treat was available at her local warehouse and that she “grabbed them SO fast!” Another member wrote, “I need these NOW!!!!” Others are already wondering how these cookies would taste with milk—and I can’t imagine the combination being anything less than amazing.

We’ll have to wait for more people to try the Sweet and Salty Cookies before we get a consensus among members on how they stack up against other Costco launches. While there will likely be some criticism as always, this already seems like a home run for the warehouse.
