Starting April 19, the chain is selling a Golden Pretzel Pass for $50 at participating stores while supplies last. The pass gets you one Original or Cinnamon Sugar pretzel every week for a full year, which is either a fantastic value or the beginning of a deeply personal co-dependent pretzel relationship, depending on how you want to look at it.
The pass has to be activated through the Auntie Anne’s Rewards app, and once that happens, you unlock a pretzel that day and then one more each week for the next 52 weeks. If you’ve ever changed direction in a mall just because you caught a whiff of buttered dough, this one was made for you.
That free pretzel offer on April 26 is open to both new and existing rewards members, so this isn’t one of those situations where only longtime app people get to have fun.
