The 4-Ingredient Apple Pie Cold Foam We’re Making All Fall

Great flavors

Easy to follow

I don’t have a frother, so I simply used a handmixer to whip all the cream ingredients together. It worked great; and the cream fluffed up beautifully. The first time I made this, I followed the recipe as written and mixed the cream ingredients all together. I found that after doing it this way, there was a slight bitter aftertaste to the cream. I think it may have been due to the brand of apple butter I used? The second time I tried it, I whipped up all the cream ingredients together–excluding the apple butter–until it reached stiff peaks. Then I added in the apple butter after the cream was whipped. Doing it that way, there was no bitter aftertaste! I also added the teeniest bit of maple syrup to the cream after I whipped it–and that brought out the flavor even more. I just thought I’d mention the ‘bitterness issue’, in case someone else happened to experience it. I served the cream over the latte version, and it was incredible! It really did taste like apple pie! Thank you for sharing your recipe!
