  • Starbucks is adding the Pink Cannon Ball Drink to its spring menu on March 3.
  • The original Cannon Ball Refresher will stay on the menu beyond its limited run.
  • A Cold Foam Cannon Ball can be unlocked now in the Starbucks app.

I am, by default, a caffeine-first person. I will leave my apartment, no matter what— questionable weather, running late and still convinced it’s worth it—for my usual Starbucks order without a second thought. But every now and then, the craving hits for something cold, sweet, and a little less espresso-forward. And it’s their upcoming drop that might be what finally gets me to switch it up.

Starbucks is rolling out a couple of new drinks tied to the season finale of Beast Games: Strong v. Smart, including the return of its Cannon Ball Drink and a brand-new addition called the Pink Cannon Ball Drink.

The original Cannon Ball Refresher first debuted back in January and was supposed to be a limited-time situation. Clearly, that plan changed, because Starbucks has decided to keep it on the menu for anyone who’s been ordering it on repeat.

Starting February 23, there’s also a new way to order it. Customers can unlock a version off their secret menu—the Cold Foam Cannon Ball — directly through the Offers tab in the Starbucks app for a limited time. To get it, order a Grande Cannon Ball Refresher with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam and let technology do the rest.

Then, beginning March 3 alongside the spring menu launch, the Pink Cannon Ball Drink officially joins the lineup. It’s a creamy take on the original, combining coconutmilk with Mango Dragonfruit and Strawberry Açaí Refreshers, shaken with ice and topped with strawberry and dragonfruit inclusions. The result is a layered drink with sweet strawberry, juicy mango, and berry notes, plus a smoother finish and a pastel, cascading color moment that’s very much designed to be put on your Instagram Stories before you consume it.

Sometimes a Starbucks order is dictated by vibes, not caffeine. But hey, to each their own. Whatever hits the craving, pink or otherwise.
