Sausage Egg McMuffin Casserole Recipe


I scaled this down to make what I needed. This was tasty. It did taste like the famous drive thru version, only better, as their muffins don’t have any real flavor, and mine do. I made my own sausage patties with chub sausage I already had on hand. I used heavy cream instead of half and half and added some white pepper to the eggs along with the salt. While this was good, this also made this a knife and fork dish, and it’s just faster and easier to make these the traditional sandwich way and serve them as handheld entrees, and also would only need 1 slice of cheese per serving instead of two making it more practical too. This was a cute idea though, and I did enjoy my fancy baked egg McMuffin.
