If you asked me to name the true loves of my life, both pizza and the Backstreet Boys would be at the top of the list.
Not only have I dressed as pizza for Halloween, but I’ve also lost count of how many Backstreet Boys concerts I’ve been to (Sphere show included). So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that my ideal Valentine’s Day involves both. And as if it could read my mind, Pizza Hut is delivering this year by partnering with Nick Carter and Howie Dorough to launch The Shape of My Heart-Shaped Pizza just in time for the most romantic day of the year.
Be still, my heart! From now through February 22, fans can order a medium one-topping Shape of My Heart-Shaped Pizza starting at $11.99 in-store, online, or in the Pizza Hut app. It’s truly a match made in heaven. After all, Pizza Hut and the Backstreet Boys both have a long history of heart-shaped hits.
To celebrate, Nick and Howie will star in a series of fun, new Pizza Hut videos rolling out throughout the week. The timing couldn’t be better: the campaign runs through Valentine’s Day and arrives right on the heels of the band’s Millennium anniversary, plus their sold-out “Into The Millennium” run at the Sphere in Las Vegas (yes, I did briefly consider going again).
“Everybody” can enjoy this “Larger Than Life” (see what I did there?) pizza deal and pretend it’s the 90’s all over again.
