Red Lobster & Vaseline Launch Valentine’s Kissing Booth

  • Red Lobster and Vaseline are hosting a reservation-only Kissing Booth experience in Times Square from February 10–12.
  • Couples get a five-course lobster-heavy meal with themed cocktails, all curated around the Valentine’s Day vibe.
  • The final “course” is a complimentary Vaseline Lip Therapy balm for kiss-ready lips.

When I first heard Red Lobster and Vaseline were teaming up, my brain short-circuited for a second. Are we dipping lobster in petroleum jelly now? Is this butter’s replacement? What’s happening?

But no, thankfully, this is actually about date night, kissing, and buttery Cheddar Bay Biscuits, not rogue seafood condiments. This Valentine’s season, Vaseline and Red Lobster have created a reservation-only Kissing Booth pop-up at Red Lobster’s Times Square location, running from February 10 through February 12.

The idea is simple: cozy up in a booth, eat a decadent lobster-heavy meal, sip themed cocktails, and end the night with kiss-ready lips courtesy of Vaseline’s limited-edition Valentine’s Lip Therapy line. Honestly, in Times Square—as a New Yorker, a location I’d say is arguably one of Earth’s most unhinged romantic backdrops—it all kind of feels appropriate.

Couples who manage to snag a reservation get a five-course meal for two, starting with the classics before moving into Lobsterfest favorites like lobster flatbread, pasta au gratin, and a duo platter featuring lobster chops and a Maine lobster tail. Dessert is the chain’s famously rich Chocolate Wave Cake, with drinks themed around Vaseline’s Valentine’s lip balms, including the UR Mint For Me Mojito, I Love U Berry Much Frozen Daiquiri, and Do U Accept This Rosé? Sangria.

Then, to tee up that end-of-the-night kiss, guests are served a complimentary Vaseline Lip Therapy balm for their final “course.”

“Red Lobster has always been a place where people come together for special moments, from first dates to anniversaries,” said Heather Timm, Senior Director of Marketing of Red Lobster. “Partnering with Vaseline to celebrate their Limited-Edition Lip Therapy Collection felt like the perfect match, allowing us to bring this exclusive menu to life with a brand that understands what happens when great food sparks connection.”

Honestly? Valentine’s Day plans are expensive and hard to book anyway. At minimum, you’re leaving this one with a lobster-filled stomach and Lip Therapy in your pocket. That’s more than most Valentine’s dinners can promise.
