Wendy’s has been all over the news lately. From their updated Frosty flavors to new kid meals, the fast food giant has really been spinning the block. And now? They’re pulling up to the grocery store aisle.
According to Instagram foodie Markie Devo, Wendy’s is now selling their iconic double-smoked bacon in stores—yep, actual grocery stores. It was spotted at a Kroger in Kentucky, and while it’s still unconfirmed if this is rolling out nationwide, people are hyped either way.
“Time to build it at home!!! 😂” one user commented. “Wendy’s bacon is always 🔥🔥🔥,” another added.
Of course, not everyone’s convinced. One skeptical fan even noted, “I just don’t understand the point.” And honestly, it’s a valid question—what’s the difference between regular bacon and Wendy’s bacon?
“Why? What’s gonna be different from the bacon that’s already on the market? Besides double-smoked. What next? Frosty bacon?!” another comment read.
This isn’t the first time the hamburger chain has brought its fan-favorite items to the grocery store. Remember their chili? Yep—that’s now available in grocery stores nationwide.
Similarly, their patties are also on the shelves. Eagle-eyed Wendy’s fans might recall when their “fresh, never frozen” patties popped up in stores across the country. And those were a big hit, if the fan comments are anything to go by.
“Would be interested in trying these 👏👏,” wrote one fan. “Omg 😍 I hope all stores carry these!” another comment read.
And with the patties, chili, and bacon now available in stores, it only makes sense that the nuggets would come next. Fans are practically begging for it. “I’d love to see their nuggets in stores, that is, of course, if they actually taste like them lol,” one fan wrote.
Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more Wendy’s products in our grocery stores. Because fans are definitely ready for more.
