Just last week, Starbucks announced a change to its rewards program that had customers outraged. But, luckily, we have some good news to level out the bad. The Seattle-based coffee giant is redeeming itself after the controversy with an all-new lineup of summer cups.
Starbucks officially dropped its seasonal merch at participating cafés across the U.S., and the collection has nine new designs in vibrant shades and gradient patterns, including four cold cups, two tumblers, a water bottle, a carrying case, and a straw charm.
So, what exactly can you get from the new collection?
- Vibrant Yellow Cold Cup & Carry Case: Go entirely hands-free with this 24-ounce clear cup with a carrying strap for just $34.95. The strap matches the bright, yellow-green lid.
- Blue Green Gradient Cold Cup: This 24-ounce cold cup has a convenient carry loop and costs $32.95. This attached loop allows drinkers to tote the green-blue cup around with just a finger.
- Color-Changing Cold Cup: The 18-ounce cup is priced at $24.95 and transforms from hot pink to yellow when cold.
- Bright Green Water Bottle: Drink up with this 32-ounce insulated water bottle for $39.95, the largest offering in the new drop.
- Swirl Cup with Flower Charm: The whimsical 24-ounce design comes with a flower charm around the straw and will run you $24.95.
- Orange & Yellow Tumbler: Snag the 16-ounce, two-toned cup for $24.95.
- Geometric Yellow Tumbler: This cutie, the smallest of the collection, is available in a 12-ounce size for $22.95.
The new designs officially joined stores on May 20 and will stick around while supplies last. If past launches are any indication, though, that likely won’t be for long.
Plus, there’s a new offering for reusable-cup drinkers. A spokesperson for Starbucks confirmed that beginning June 24, customers will earn double stars on their orders when they use a reusable cup instead of the previous 25-star bonus. While fans had mixed reviews about the change to the rewards program, there’s no denying that the new cups are cute. And that’s the best reward of ’em all.
