Despite the fact that McDonald’s USA CEO, Joe Erlinger, confirmed the Snack Wrap’s comeback last year, the golden-arched fast food joint has mostly kept customers in the dark about when it would actually make its triumphant return to menus—until now.

After months of speculation, Micky D’s has finally revealed an exact date. The Snack Wrap will be back beginning July 10 in two flavors: spicy and ranch. According to an email from the fast food chain, the Spicy Snack Wrap is a “bold, zesty, and unapologetically fiery” wrap with a habanero kick that customers all know and love from the Spicy McCrispy Sandwich, while the latter—a “smooth, rich and irresistibly savory” Snack Wrap—has a creamy cool ranch flavor profile with hints of garlic and onion.

Both the Spicy Snack Wrap and Ranch Snack Wrap will be available à la carte or as part of a combo meal, which will include two wraps, medium fries, and a drink of your choice.

McDonald’s first teased the return of the Snack Wrap in 2024 before confirming in December that it would arrive sometime in the new year. “Snack wraps xx.xx.2025,” the chain casually announced on X in December.

“We’re excited about the significant opportunity we see within our chicken portfolio and see the potential to add another point of chicken market share by the end of 2026,” he said. “This year, there is incredible energy for the return of Snack Wraps in the U.S., along with a few other markets.”

McDonald’s also relaunched the McCrispy Sandwich, which has already reached over 70 markets and will continue to roll out nationwide. The chain is adding McCrispy Chicken Strips to menus, and the Chicken Big Mac will remain a limited-time offering.

The Snack Wrap’s return is a long time coming. Over a year ago, in December of 2023, Erlinger promised fans that the menu item would be back…at some point. However, he gave no real indication of the timeline or on what level it would return. Consumers began speculating in July that this could be sooner rather than later after the Snack Wrap’s missing link (the McCrispy Chicken) started popping up on menus across North Carolina. Clearly, they were right.

Back in December, fans quickly flooded McDonald’s announcement post with glee. “Wait bestie are you serious,” one user wrote. “Xmas miracle,” another wrote.

“Drooling 4 snack wraps,” a third person shared…with an actual photo of them drooling.

According to the fast food joint’s marketing director, Guillaume Huin, enthusiastic posts like this inspired McDonald’s to bring back the Snack Wraps to begin with.

“If you ever wonder if your posts here matter, if they have an impact, if we even care, let me tell you something, you and you only with your countless posts and requests and petitions made it happen,” Huin wrote on the platform. “They were in all our meetings, all our discussions, every single PowerPoint to make a case for it. You won, Snack Wrap fans. Thank you.”

So…uh…what should we set our sights on next? You heard the man.
