Kelsea Ballerini is just a littttle busy these days. You know, headlining an arena tour, releasing a deluxe album, and starring as a coach on season 27 of The Voice. Just a few things! But, somehow, she’s still relatable—at least when it comes to her food preferences.

The self-proclaimed chicken nugget expert, who once swore by a weekly platter of Chick-fil-A on tour and loves “a good carb waiting” for her offstage, finally revealed the one fast food meal that she could eat for the rest of her life.

“It’s hard to pick because I do love most of them but I have to go with my go-to since I was a kid,” Ballerini tells Delish while in Nashville for CMA Fest. “McDonald’s. I want a 10-piece nuggy meal. I want some honey mustard. That’s my only sauce. Nothing else will work for me.”

Now, here’s where she might lose some folks. “French fries, I could take or leave,” Ballerini admits. “But I’m big on the honey mustard with the 10-piece nuggy meal.”

Micky D’s fries…a negotiable? Despite her controversial take on the starchy side dish, she admits that she’s “pretty much a garbage disposal” when it comes to her fast food preferences.

“I’ll try most anything. But I have seen really fancy people lately doing caviar on a chicken nugget. I haven’t tried that yet,” Ballerini says. “That feels like the best of both worlds. It just feels like salt galore.”

It’s fitting that our fast food queen is also a financially savvy queen (you know, budgets, dollar menus, all that) with a golden heart. Ahead of her CMA performance, Ballerini announced an official partnership with SoFi and “tnAchieves” to inspire a younger generation of Tennesseans to follow her lead.

“So, the rising star program, it starts today and it’s really incredible because for this next month, 18 to 24 year olds that live in Tennessee can sign up and you get anywhere from $5 to $1,000 to start investing,” she tells Delish. “I certainly know that for me from 18 to 24, I did not know anything about investing. I was just like, ‘maybe that’s all later in life thing’ and it’s really important to do early on. Just like you’re investing in your education or your hobbies or your dreams. I just love being able to be someone that’s talking about it and hopefully that’s helping other people talk about it and build that community. That’s the first step.”

Think about it…the more you invest, the more chicken nuggets you can buy! Right, Kels?
