Hunter Fieri isn’t the only celebrity chef offspring headed down the aisle. On Thursday, Gordon Ramsay confirmed the news that his daughter Holly was engaged to her olympic swimmer boyfriend Adam Peaty.

“Congratulations to this gorgeous girl @hollyramsayy….so happy for you and @adam_peaty,” Gordon wrote on Instagram. “Hols, watching you become the woman you are today with your kindness and your love is absolutely infectious…Adam is a very lucky man ! Welcome to the family ❤️.”

“One down, two to go 😂,” he joked, referencing his other daughters Megan and Matilda aka “Tilly.”

While fans flooded his social media post with congratulations, they also took it as an opportunity to troll the television personality. “God help the chef at the wedding,” one person wrote. “This calls for celebratory lamb sauce,” another chimed in.

“Imagine gordon ramsey being your father in law 🫠,” a third fan trolled Ramsay.

Holly shared her own announcement to the internet, writing, “I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now. I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you.”

She went on to thank her athlete fiancé for letting the little girl in her “feel loved, seen, and happier than ever,” before adding that she couldn’t wait to be his wife.

Ramsay also shared a special shoutout to her soon-to-be stepson, George, who Peaty shares with ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro.

“I promise to always be there with you and George, I’m so grateful to be in his life and I cannot wait for more,” she wrote, before concluding the announcement by saying “everything is better with you. Everything has been better since you.”

Peaty, meanwhile, praised his soon-to-be wife for helping him through his “lowest” and to understand himself enough to navigate his “own darkness.”

“You have also celebrated the highs which have been so many, as for the first time in my life, I’m happy with the man I’ve become … I promise to always love you with all my heart,” Peaty wrote.
