The fast-casual staple announced Panera RISE, a new era for them that puts food quality, value, and more consistent cafe operations at the center of everything. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The plan rests on four pillars: refreshing the menu, igniting value, serving guests with excellence, and expanding\/modernizing the bakery-cafe network. More distinctive, higher-quality ingredients sound promising enough, but clearer price ladders so lunch doesn\u2019t feel like a dent to my wallet aren&#8217;t bad either.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Beverages are getting a rethink, too. Panera\u2019s already testing new Frescas (caffeine-free) and Energy Refreshers (with caffeine) in several markets, with baristas making them to order.
