Last Crumb built its name on luxury cookies that run $120-$140 per dozen. There’s a year-round “core collection” of classics, plus seasonal and limited-edition drops. <\/p>\n
Just in time for the holidays, the bakery is teaming up with another heavy-hitter\u2014Guinness. The collab brings six cookies: three made with Guinness, and three best-sellers that pair well with the stout. The limited-edition box also comes with two Guinness glasses and a whimsical cookie tin. It’s available for pre-order now and ships nationwide November 24, with restocks scheduled for December 2 and 16. <\/p>\n

The first bites confirm it\u2014there is no missing the Guinness in these cookies, and beer lovers won’t<\/em> be disappointed. Pub Cookie is a Guinness chocolate chip cookie packed with toffee and dark chocolate, and it’s easily the booziest of the bunch. <\/p>\n

Twist & Stout, a Guinness raspberry cocoa milkshake cookie, is inspired by Irish bartenders who add blackcurrant cordial to a pint. It’s loaded with raspberry preserves, vanilla cream, and malted dough, resulting in a unique bite. It comes with butterscotch sauce for drizzling on top, and the caramelized edges add a nice, sweet finish. <\/p>\n

Not Your Nan’s is a sticky toffee pudding cookie that folds Guinness, toffee, and dates into a gooey dough-like cookie. It’s the best translation of beer to cookie: you taste the stout, but more subtly than in Pub Cookie, and it truly tastes just like a sticky toffee pudding. <\/p>\n

My second favorite, The Barrel Roll, is a banana cream pie cookie with banana, vanilla, marshmallow, plus a crispy, sticky, caramelized outer edge that is *chef’s kiss.* It was my favorite cookie to chase with a sip or two of Guinness\u2014the fruity banana works really well with the dark stout. <\/p>\n

Last up is Midnight Snack, a birthday cake cookie covered in festive red-and-gold sprinkles and filled with a vanilla cake batter and frosting dough. While it was certainly delicious, it is a bit sweet for me, but easily the prettiest of the six. <\/p>\n
If I had to rank from most to least favorite, it’d go: Peanut Butter Guinness Time, The Barrel Roll, Not Your Nan’s, Twist & Stout, Midnight Snack, and Pub Cookie. The brands did a great job fusing their flavors, but the beer was a bit overwhelming at times. Honestly? These are the first cookies I’ve tried where I’d caution: no snacking and driving. <\/p>\n
