The chicken chain is launching two new chicken-and-waffle sandwiches, but only in select restaurants in San Antonio and Baltimore. The launch is part of a test to gauge customer reaction; if all goes well, they will roll out nationwide. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The sandwiches, testing from December 1 through January 24 while supplies last, feature maple waffles, applewood-smoked bacon, honey butter spread, and either a spicy or original chicken filet, and will be served with syrup. Customers can choose a breakfast-sized sandwich or a larger, full-sized version.  <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-13\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">While many customers are disappointed that the sandwiches are currently only available in select locations, hype is already building\u2014especially among those lucky enough to live in the testing locations. &#8220;I feel special to live in Baltimore right now \ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d,&#8221; one customer commented on social media. &#8220;Yessss we finally get something,&#8221; another posted.  <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-14\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;Why is this even a test? This needs to be nationwide yesterday,&#8221; another person wrote. &#8220;They woulda tore the streets up with this,&#8221; one person commented. &#8220;Yall just want me to be big and hungry huh,&#8221; a third customer joked. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;Absolutely jealous,&#8221; one out-of-towner wrote. &#8220;Omg need this asap,&#8221; another fan commented. &#8220;It\u2019s already a yes for me,&#8221; said a third. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">If the early enthusiasm around the sandwiches is any indication, fans may get that nationwide rollout they&#8217;re looking for.
