\nAirplane fare isn\u2019t exactly regarded as the most, ahem<\/em>, appetizing cuisine\u2014unless, of course, you\u2019re flying Business Class on Emirates. On most trips, a mediocre cheese plate is about as exciting as it gets. But you know<\/em> it\u2019s really bad when the flight attendant is apologizing before they even serve it. <\/p>\n
Then again, this particular apology might have more to do with Tom Papa\u2019s well-documented obsession with bread. The comedian-slash-podcast host\u2014whose show is literally called \u201cBreaking Bread\u201d and described as a mix of \u201ccomedy and carbs\u201d\u2014actually received an \u201cI\u2019m sorry\u201d over the in-flight bread situation. <\/p>\n
\u201cI got recognized on American Airlines. I was on a flight, and the flight attendant came up and he\u2019s like, \u2018Hey Tom.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, oh, he knows me as a comedian! And he said, \u2018I just want to apologize, the bread on this flight is awful,\u2019\u201d Papa said on the most recent episode of the Delish<\/em> podcast, SNACKS!<\/em> <\/p>\n
