The holiday food he calls the most &#8220;overrated.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"0.2\">Instead of serving dessert, Fieri suggests: &#8220;Do a great job on your appetizers, do a fantastic job on your dinner, and then throw \u2018em a bar of chocolate.&#8221; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-node-id=\"1\" class=\"css-18pb4rg emevuu60\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"2\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Despite his, well, massive fortune and star status, Guy Fieri is a pretty relatable guy with relatable opinions. During a recent Q&amp;A with Food Network on Instagram, he proved as much\u2014he prefers guests to arrive late rather than early, describes himself as a &#8220;real tree guy&#8221; for the holidays, and says you shouldn&#8217;t start listening to Christmas music until &#8220;after Thanksgiving.&#8221; All totally reasonable, totally sound opinions!  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">But that doesn&#8217;t mean there wasn&#8217;t one wild-card answer. When asked about the one holiday food he finds most &#8220;overrated,&#8221; Fieri shocked audiences\u2014myself included. &#8220;All the desserts,&#8221; he revealed. Gasp!<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-14\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;What is up with that? Do a great job on your appetizers, do a fantastic job on your dinner, and then throw \u2018em a bar of chocolate,&#8221; he added. <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-15\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Naturally, some fans took their own stance. &#8220;Nah, most overrated holiday food is turkey, it does not matter how much you brine it &#8230; within 10 minutes of cutting into it all the moisture [is] gone lol,&#8221; one user wrote in the comments. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">While his take on holiday desserts is definitely a hot (read: wrong) take\u2014according to me, at least\u2014fans were quick to agree with his stance on party arrival when asked, &#8220;Would you rather your guests arrive 15 minutes early or late?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;Probably late. When I\u2019ve got that last 15 minutes, when I\u2019m getting things done, I\u2019m in work mode,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I\u2019m getting dinner done. I\u2019m getting things finished up. I don\u2019t want people coming into the kitchen and picking at stuff and getting in the way and asking a bunch of questions. Come late.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"10\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;Always LATE so your host has that extra few minutes for their final touches,&#8221; one commenter agreed. &#8220;I want them 15 minutes late.
