There’s something oddly mysterious and alluring about craft services, a film and TV production department responsible for providing refreshments to the cast and crew throughout the day. For all I know, our fave stars could be eating the same office-grade stale snacks or sad desk salads as the rest of us. But I’ve always imagined something more glamorous behind the soundstage doors\u2014towering fruit trays, caviar-topped crostinis, perhaps a sparkling water station. As it turns out, my fantasy might actually have some merit. <\/p>\n
On the latest episode of our new podcast, SNACKS!<\/em>, <\/em>Tony Shalhoub gave us a sneak peek into the world of craft services\u2014and more specifically, which series he’s worked on that boasted the best food. <\/p>\n “<\/em>Oh boy, they were all very very good,” he tells host and Delish <\/em>Editorial Director Joanna Saltz of craft services. “I would have to say Maisel <\/em>[had the best food]. It wasn\u2019t just craft services. Amy Sherman-Palladino, who wrote and directed the show, is a major foodie. She has a wonderful appreciation of it. She is so gracious and generous.” <\/p>\n
