For all I know, our fave stars could be eating the same office-grade stale snacks or sad desk salads as the rest of us. But I&#8217;ve always imagined something more glamorous behind the soundstage doors\u2014towering fruit trays, caviar-topped crostinis, perhaps a sparkling water station. As it turns out, my fantasy might actually have some merit. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">On the latest episode of our new podcast,<em data-node-id=\"3.1\"> SNACKS!<\/em><em data-node-id=\"3.2\">, <\/em>Tony Shalhoub gave us a sneak peek into the world of craft services\u2014and more specifically, which series he&#8217;s worked on that boasted the best food. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\"><em data-node-id=\"4.0\">&#8220;<\/em>Oh boy, they were all very very good,&#8221; he tells host and <em data-node-id=\"4.2\">Delish <\/em>Editorial Director Joanna Saltz of craft services. &#8220;I would have to say <em data-node-id=\"4.6\">Maisel <\/em>[had the best food]<em data-node-id=\"4.8\"\/>. It wasn\u2019t just craft services. Amy Sherman-Palladino, who wrote and directed the show, is a major foodie. She has a wonderful appreciation of it. She is so gracious and generous.&#8221; <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-14\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The Prime series had more than just a good craft services spread. Shalhoub says that every table read included a full-on themed (!!!) feast. &#8220;Usually [for a table read] there&#8217;s a bagel, there&#8217;s some coffee,&#8221; he continues. &#8220;We would go to the table reads, and they would have a spread, and it was always reflective of what the episode was about. Themed lunches! I&#8217;m talking about a lot of food.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Sherman-Palladino went particularly <em data-node-id=\"7.1\">all out<\/em> for the Paris and Vegas episodes. &#8220;It was not just the spread,&#8221; Shalhoub says. &#8220;It was the decor! The centerpieces! It was so fun. I&#8217;m talking the best food&#8230;there was a Vegas episode, so everything was decked out like a casino with a buffet.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;It was a fantastic experience,&#8221; he adds. &#8220;I miss it every day.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">I would too! Maybe I need to talk to my boss about themed lunch spreads?
