The breakfast, brunch, and lunch chain has won numerous awards (yes, even best breakfast chain in the country) and is a great place to start your morning on the right foot. I discovered the chain a few years ago at a location in Scottsdale, Arizona. It has since become a family go-to, and a place where we definitely don’t mind treating ourselves. <\/p>\n
The menu has a great mix of healthy and indulgent options, so no matter how you like to start your day, there’s a little something for everyone. They also keep things fresh with limited-time, seasonal items. On the horizon is the holiday menu featuring five new offerings, including an exclusive partnership with Nutella. <\/p>\n
As someone who needs a little incentive to get out of bed in the morning, this was the perfect excuse to try the new lineup. First up, the sweets: Cheesecake Holey Donuts with Nutella and a Cinnamon Chip Pancake Breakfast. <\/p>\n

The best part about this meal is that it isn’t just pancakes\u2014if you like sweet and savory, this checks all the boxes. The plate comes with two cafe-free eggs cooked any style, a big cinnamon chip pancake, and your choice of hardwood-smoked bacon, smoked ham or pork, or turkey or chicken-apple sausages. The pancake itself just screams “winter,” and the cinnamon chips bring the holiday flavor to a classic breakfast staple. <\/p>\n

They look spectacular, and they taste just as indulgent and festive as they look. Let me start by saying I’m not a cheesecake girl, but I’d gladly share this dish with loved ones. For a dish that looks really over the top, the balance is smart\u2014the donut bites remind me of apple cider donuts, and the toppings are well distributed so you get fun and flavor without excess. It’s a great dish to order for the table. <\/p>\n

The latter is diced hardwood-smoked bacon, house-roasted onions, sauteed spinach, mozzarella, and potato hash, topped with two cage-free eggs any style, two strips of hardwood-smoked bacon, Parmesan cream sauce, freshly cracked black pepper, lemon-dressed arugula, shaved Parm, and fresh herbs. If you’re a cheese lover, you’ll melt for this. The Parmesan cream adds a luxurious, salty bite, and the potato hash is truly delicious (I say that as someone notoriously disappointed by most versions). If I were ever ambitious enough to run a marathon, I’d carbo-load with this. <\/p>\n

I love a good breakfast taco, and these deliver. The corn tortilla feels authentic, and the spicy crema adds a nice kick without blowing out your palate. The combination of the eggs with the pickled onions and pico de gallo rounds it all out. Honestly, consider this my petition to add them to the regular menu. <\/p>\n

It’s a refreshing option for anyone skipping caffeine, but still wanting something more fun than plain juice or water. <\/p>\n
Sadly for my jeans, there isn’t a dish on this menu I wouldn’t order again. Some items feel more “holiday” than others, so if you want to lean in to the season, go for one of the sweet options. If you’re after a protein-packed meal, the savory dishes have you covered. Pair anything with First Watch’s iconic Million Dollar Bacon (IYKYK) and you’ll be feeling jolly before you leave the restaurant. <\/p>\n
