Salmonella<\/em> contamination.<\/p>\nAccording to the recall notice, the affected products were packaged in \u201clarger formats intended mainly for food service and institutional customers.\u201d That said, some of the mixes may also have been sold online through e-commerce platforms, meaning there is a chance they ended up in home kitchens, too.<\/p>\n
The recall is connected to a separate milk powder recall by California Dairies, Inc., whose product was later distributed as an ingredient in powdered beverage mixes, including Ghirardelli\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n
