During the latest episode of <em data-node-id=\"2.3\">SNACKS!<\/em>, the Albanian-American songstress opened up about her caffeine obsession, which started when she was just a child. Yes, really. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cWe [drink Turkish coffee] all day,\u201d Rexha tells <em data-node-id=\"3.1\">Delish <\/em>Editorial Director Joanna Saltz. \u201cLike if somebody\u2019s over at seven, we\u2019ll drink it. It doesn\u2019t matter what time it is\u2014coffee is just part of the day.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cI started drinking coffee when I was 11. It was normal,\u201d she continues. \u201cIn my culture, it\u2019s not weird\u2014it\u2019s just something you grow up with.\u201d <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-18\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">And 25 years later&#8230;nothing\u2019s changed. Coffee is still a go-to for Rexha\u2014as long as it\u2019s prepared properly. It\u2019s not like regular coffee, where you just press a button. It takes time, and that\u2019s kind of the whole point,\u201d she explains. \u201cWhen you make a good Turkish coffee, it should be foamy on top. That\u2019s how you know you did it right.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">And the coffee-to-sugar ratio is just as exact: \u201cTwo coffee, one sugar,\u201d she adds. \u201cThat\u2019s just how we do it\u2014it\u2019s like the standard.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"10\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Despite her passion for the bevvy, she serves up much more than a mug when her guests come over. \u201cMy love language is feeding people. When you come over, you\u2019re not just getting coffee\u2014you\u2019re getting food, you\u2019re getting everything. That\u2019s just how I was raised,\u201d Rexha says. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"11\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Even when she\u2019s in the studio, Rexha orders food for everyone. When guests come over to her house, Ferrero Rocher chocolate is <em data-node-id=\"11.1\">always<\/em> served. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"12\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cIf you pass the two-hour mark, or you\u2019re there for an hour and 30 minutes, we have to feed you a full meal,\u201d she adds. Naturally, it\u2019s followed by coffee\u2014Turkish or regular.
