\u201cIt was changing our life instantly, overnight, in every aspect of our life,\u201d Lisa tells Delish <\/em>Editorial Director Joanna Saltz on the latest episode of SNACKS!<\/em> \u201cWe went from having dinner every single night together to him traveling 350,000 miles a year.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cI get a call, I\u2019ll never forget it. It was like 2008. My sister\u2019s like, \u2018TLC\u2019s on the phone.\u2019 So I\u2019m like, \u2018TLC? Ooh, like the band?\u2019 I mean, I\u2019m the cake guy, that\u2019s what I thought,\u201d Buddy says. Despite the fact that he \u201cnever\u201d wanted to be on TV, when the network called about a cake show, he embraced the opportunity. \u201cI pitched him Cake Boss. I\u2019m like, \u2018Look, I got a hundred-year-old bakery, crazy Italian family. I do these giant cakes,\u2019 And they were like, \u2018All right, take a camcorder, run it through the bakery.\u2019 I sent it the next day, and they\u2019re like, \u2018We want to sign a contract.\u201d <\/p>\n
