La Tub in Miami,  ABC Kitchen in New York, Black Tap, and Shake Shack.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-node-id=\"1\" class=\"css-18pb4rg emevuu60\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"2\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Gayle King is a woman of strength, discipline, and routine. She sets her first alarm for 3:24 each morning, takes a full bath, and still makes it to the office by 5 a.m. without a drop of coffee (ever). She never drinks alcohol, and if you tell her she can\u2019t have the cheeseburger she\u2019s been dreaming about all day, she finds a way.<br data-node-id=\"2.5\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cI was visiting Oprah in Telluride, Colorado. The electricity went out in the whole town,\u201d King tells <em data-node-id=\"3.1\">Delish <\/em>Editorial Director Joanna Saltz on the latest episode of <em data-node-id=\"3.5\">SNACKS!<\/em>. \u201cNow we had been on a diet, and I had been thinking all day about the burger I was gonna have at the end of the day. I was gonna go to Fuddruckers, which is very good.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The generator wasn\u2019t working, and their only option at the house was cold sandwiches, but that didn\u2019t stop King. \u201cI\u2019d been thinking about this frigging burger all day,\u201d she says. \u201cWe went to three different places. Everything was closed.\u201d<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-18\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Finally, the two friends resorted to the grocery store and bought the ingredients and tools for Oprah\u2019s chef to whip up the burger at home. \u201cWe went to four or five different places and [Oprah] said, \u2018Gayle, this is not normal. You do realize that, don\u2019t you?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cI go, \u2018Why is it not normal? I\u2019ve been thinking about it all day&#8230;food gives me a lot of joy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">It\u2019s not the only time King takes her burger seriously. It\u2019s another element of her life she\u2019s consistent about. \u201cI do love a cheeseburger.
