The warehouse bakery department has been dropping hit after hit in 2026\u2014and we\u2019re only two months into the year.  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">A few weeks ago, Costco introduced twice-baked almond croissants made with its classic all-butter croissants and a sweet frangipane filling. Members, naturally, rushed to their local warehouses to buy a box. And now, the warehouse is offering another sweet spin on the flaky pastry. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds posted a video to her Instagram showing Costco\u2019s latest new dessert: twice-baked chocolate croissants. <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-17\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-18\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Like the almond version, this pastry starts with Costco\u2019s buttery croissants, split in half. But this time, a decadent chocolate filling is added to the middle and slathered on top of each pastry. Lamb describes the twice-baked chocolate croissants as \u201cboth savory and sweet and just amazing.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Clearly, many of her fellow Costco members agree. \u201cThese are next level,\u201d one person commented. \u201cSooo freaking tasty.\u201d Another chimed in with, \u201cThe Costco bakery never disappoints.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">But of course, there will always be detractors. The added crunch and bonus chocolate center can create an entirely new (equally delicious) eating experience. And any attempt to cut down on food waste is one worth making, IMO.  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"12\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Each package of six croissants is on sale at Costco warehouses now for $9.99.
