Thankfully, the chefs at the Olympic Village understand the assignment.  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">On Wednesday, athletes were surprised with a special pasta shaped like the signature Olympic rings. And carbo-loading has never looked more celebratory.<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-17\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The International Olympic Committee announced the shape back in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympics.com\/en\/milano-cortina-2026\/news\/taste-of-the-games-carlo-cracco-olympic-rings-pasta-milano-cortina-2026\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.olympics.com\/en\/milano-cortina-2026\/news\/taste-of-the-games-carlo-cracco-olympic-rings-pasta-milano-cortina-2026\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"October\" data-vars-ga-product-id=\"9b9c42ea-b043-45e4-9d32-524eb85a6668\" rel=\"nofollow\" data-node-id=\"5.1\" class=\"body-link product-links css-8bav6j emevuu60\">October<\/a>, designed by Italian artisans specifically for the Winter Games. A post on the official Olympics Instagram account shows athletes from France, Great Britain, Italy, and Ukraine holding plates filled with the limited-edition pasta.  <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-18\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">In the Olympic Village, it was served with a variety of sauces, like marinara, butter, and meat sauce. Competitors could also top their pasta with generous sprinkles of Parmesan. Olympic athletes, they\u2019re just like us! <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Fans flooded the comments on the Instagram post. \u201cNeeeed,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/emilyeggers\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/emilyeggers\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Emily Eggers\" data-node-id=\"8.1\" class=\"body-link css-8bav6j emevuu60\">Emily Eggers<\/a>, the chef and content creator behind the viral Dirty Martini Pasta. (BTW, could you imagine how good the Olympics pasta would taste with that sauce?) <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">One user dubbed the shape \u201cRINGatoni,\u201d which should absolutely be the official name. But the main question from commenters was basically: \u201cOkay, but where can we get a box?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"10\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this pasta isn\u2019t for sale. For the less athletically inclined among us, we\u2019re stuck with standard pasta shapes. Less festive? Sure. Still pasta?
