Coli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-journey-body=\"standard-article\">\n<ul data-node-id=\"0\" class=\"css-kw9lqy emevuu60\">\n<li data-node-id=\"0.0\">FSIS recalled 22,912 pounds of raw ground beef from CS Beef Packers, LLC, due to possible E. coli O145 contamination.<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"0.1\">The products were shipped to distributors in California, Idaho, and Oregon for foodservice distribution.<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"0.2\">No illnesses have been confirmed yet, but foodservice operators should not serve the products and should discard them or return them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-node-id=\"1\" class=\"css-18pb4rg emevuu60\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"2\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">If you have burgers or meatballs on your weekend dinner menu, you might want to think again. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The FSIS just announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsis.usda.gov\/recalls-alerts\/cs-beef-packers-llc-recalls-ground-beef-products-may-be-contaminated-e--coli-o145\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.fsis.usda.gov\/recalls-alerts\/cs-beef-packers-llc-recalls-ground-beef-products-may-be-contaminated-e--coli-o145\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"recall\" data-node-id=\"3.1\" class=\"body-link css-8bav6j emevuu60\">recall<\/a> of 22,912 pounds of raw ground beef products from CS Beef Packers, LLC, due to possible contamination with <em data-node-id=\"3.3\">E. coli <\/em>O145. The issue was discovered during FSIS testing at a downstream customer, where <em data-node-id=\"3.5\">E. coli<\/em> was detected in the ground beef. The affected products were shipped to distributors in three states\u2014California, Idaho, and Oregon\u2014and were intended for foodservice distribution. In other words, it&#8217;s unlikely to be in your home fridge, but it may be in restaurants, hotels, or other commercial kitchen freezers.  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The recalled products bear the establishment number &#8220;EST. 630&#8221; and include: <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-16\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<ul data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-kw9lqy emevuu60\">\n<li data-node-id=\"7.0\">10-lb. chubs of &#8220;Beef, Coarse Ground, 73 L&#8221; packed in cardboard cases with case code 18601, Use\/Freeze By 2\/4\/2026, and time stamps between 7:03 and 8:32.<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"7.1\">10-lb. chubs of &#8220;Fire River Farms Classic Beef Fine Ground 73L&#8221; packed in cardboard cases with case code 19583, Use\/Freeze By 2\/4\/2026, and time stamps between 7:03 and 8:32.<\/li>\n<li data-node-id=\"7.2\">Four 10-lb. chubs of &#8220;Fire River Farms Classic Beef Fine Ground 81L&#8221; packed in cardboard cases with case code 19563, Use\/Freeze By 2\/4\/2026, and time stamps between 7:03 and 8:32. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">All affected products were produced on January 14, 2026, and there&#8217;s concern they may still be in foodservice freezers. So far, there have been no confirmed reports of illness, but foodservice locations are urged not to serve the products and to either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
