If you ask me, the Super Bowl has little to do with the big game and all to do with the food. After all, what would a Super Bowl party be without the wings and nachos? A letdown, that’s what! This year, Super Bowl 60 is taking place in San Francisco, one of the best food cities in the country, so naturally the Bowl\u2014and the events that surround it\u2014will have to live up to the city’s esteemed culinary reputation. <\/p>\n
Naturally, one of the best food events of the year will coincide with the big Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots game\u2014and Bullseye Event Group is bringing back its nationally acclaimed Players Tailgate<\/a>, taking place within walking distance of Levi’s Stadium to get people amped (and fed) in time for kick-off. The big fete brings together renowned celebrity chefs, live entertainment, NFL athletes, and multiple open bars to celebrate the final football smackdown of the season.<\/p>\n If, like me, you’re more about the food than the football (or even if you aren’t), then you’ll fit right in at Players Tailgate\u2014after all, it is <\/em>also known as the culinary Super Bowl before the Super Bowl. This year’s event takes place at Mission College less than a mile from the stadium. The tailgate kicks off at 11 am and will run until 3 pm\u2014plenty of time to take advantage of the boundless amounts of food that will be on offer. It will be hosted by Chefs Aaron May, Marc Murphy, and Kelsey Murphy, and has a mouthwatering lineup of culinary talent cooking up food for the masses.
