K-Cups make your morning cup so much easier to brew, and with so many brands offering different roasts and flavors, it can feel like having your own little caf\u00e9 right in your kitchen. However, if you have a drawer full of K-Cups, you&#8217;ll want to double-check those labels.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Keurig Dr Pepper issued a voluntary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Event=98138\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Event=98138\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"recall\" data-node-id=\"3.1\" class=\"body-link css-1i7jlb0 emevuu60\">recall<\/a> of more than 80,000 of its McCaf\u00e9 Premium Roast Decaf Coffee K-Cup Pods. Although the pods are labeled decaf, they may actually contain fully caffeinated coffee. Not only can this pose a health risk for people who are sensitive to caffeine, but it can also have more severe side effects for children, pregnant or breastfeeding people, or anyone with certain medical conditions, including cardiovascular issues, IBS, anxiety disorders, glaucoma, or epilepsy. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The affected pods were packaged in 84-count cartons and contain the UPC code 043000073438 and a best-by date of November 17, 2026. They also list batch number 5101564894 and material number 5000358463. The K-Cups were distributed by Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. in three states: California, Indiana, and Nevada.
