Top Chef<\/em> Season 10 winner and current host Kristen Kish has traded the judges\u2019 table for the roundtable. And while her ability to sniff out Traitors remains to be seen, we can<\/em> trust her ability to give an honest report on what the food situation in the castle is actually like. <\/p>\n
\n And apparently, the craft services team should take notes. Kish posted a photo on Instagram revealing everything viewers want to know, and she did not hold back. According to the Top Chef<\/em> host, the only heat source available to the cast was a single toaster in the kitchen. <\/p>\n
\n That, however, didn\u2019t stop her from getting creative. \u201cDid I try to toast a marshmallow over the toaster? Of course I did,\u201d Kish said. \u201cDesperate times call for desperate measures.\u201d In another act of desperation, Kish admitted she almost set a grilled cheese on fire after trying to cook it in the toaster. <\/p>\n
While the dynamics in the castle are always shifting, contestants can count on the snack selection staying exactly the same\u2026 for better or worse. Apparently, the glass jars in the kitchen are never swapped out to feature different snacks. Kish relied on the castle\u2019s endless supply of dates as \u201cpre-workout\u201d fuel before missions, and she also said she \u201cwent heavy on the Haribo gummies.\u201d Honestly, who could blame her? <\/p>\n

She even \u201coffered to consult on culinary needs for future seasons,\u201d and according to fellow contestant Stephen Colletti, she\u2019s already given production a few tips. <\/p>\n
The One Tree Hill <\/em>star commented on Kish\u2019s post to reminisce about her \u201cgentle request [to craft services] to introduce more aromatics to [the] lunches.\u201d It\u2019s time to give the girls some garlic! <\/p>\n
