Walmart just announced a major expansion<\/a> of its drone delivery partnership with Wing (Alphabet\u2019s drone delivery company), with plans to bring the service to 150 additional Walmart stores over the next year. Once the rollout is finished, the network is set to reach millions of people across the country, with over 270 drone-enabled Walmart locations by 2027. <\/p>\n
Walmart and Wing say drone delivery<\/a> has become a repeatedly used service in markets like Dallas\u2013Fort Worth and Metro Atlanta, with repeat customers using it multiple<\/em> times a week. <\/p>\n
\n And the expansion is already kicking off. Houston has officially entered the drone era, with Wing operating out of five Walmart Supercenters in the area. Upcoming service areas on the list are Los Angeles, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Miami, with even to come. <\/p>\n
