After introducing a brownie walnut pie and peanut butter monster cookies earlier this month, the warehouse is adding another treat to the bakery department: a Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Cake.<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-15\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds shared the news on Instagram on Thursday and raved about the new dessert. The warehouse hasn\u2019t disclosed the components yet, but Lamb describes the treat as layers of cake and mousse, studded with cookie dough pieces and mini chocolate chips. Each cake weighs over 2.5 pounds and costs $18.99.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">And, like with any new Costco bakery item, the news was received with lots of fanfare from members. \u201cI can\u2019t decide if I\u2019m glad or sad that I skipped the bakery on my Costco run today,\u201d one Instagram user said. On TikTok, one member commented, \u201cman give me a gummy and 20 min alone with this cake.\u201d<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-16\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Costco lovers were quick to draw comparisons to the warehouse\u2019s other bar cakes. One Instagram user asked, \u201cBut is it as good as that chocolate tuxedo mousse bar cake?\u201d Others took to the comments section to beg for the return of two limited-time flavors from last year: the Cr\u00e8me Br\u00fbl\u00e9e Bar Cake and the Mocha Crunch Bar Cake. Those who have tried the new cake, however, have only great things to say. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Members everywhere are excited to taste the Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Cake, but it appears that not everyone will get the opportunity. So far, sightings of the dessert have been reported in Texas, Wisconsin, Missouri, Massachusetts, and New York. But in other parts of the world, people have been less lucky. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cIf I show up to Costco and they don\u2019t have it, I will cry,\u201d one TikTok user wrote. An Instagram user lamented, \u201cMichigan will never see this. Just like we haven\u2019t seen the brownie pie yet.\u201d And Canadian members all over social media are devastated after learning this is a U.S.-only offering.
