I was an editor at Allrecipes 20 years ago and recently wrote an article listing my \u201clifer\u201d recipes\u2014i.e. recipes that have a permanent place in my life, even after all these years. And it got me curious about what my former co-workers would say their favorites were. So I asked them! And the result is a batch of must-add-to-recipe-box winners.\n<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n A few former coworkers had their own recipes published on the site while working for Allrecipes, so of course needed to plug their work:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dotdash Meredith Food Studios<\/p>\n <\/span> In addition to my personal fave, Taqueria Style Tacos\u2014Carne Asada Tacos<\/strong>, there were several Mexican-inspired recipes in the mix:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Kathy h<\/p>\n <\/span> Almost my entire list of favorite recipes are desserts, and my former co-workers had a few treats to add:\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chef John<\/p>\n <\/span> In a surprise to absolutely no one <\/em>who\u2019s ever tried a recipe from Chef John, enough of his were mentioned that he deserved his own section:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dotdash Meredith Food Studios<\/p>\n <\/span> Though these last few didn\u2019t fit neatly into one of the categories above, they are still among the best of the best. Kim L. said Red Lentil Curry<\/strong> is the one and only she and her husband still make. Jen E.\u2019s adds further proof that the World’s Best Lasagna <\/strong>might just be exactly that. And Rachel M. says this Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole<\/strong> is on her family\u2019s Thanksgiving table every year.\n<\/p>\n And there you have it. The recipes former Allrecipes employees\u2014who\u2019ve seen a lot <\/em>of recipes, and are very<\/em> discerning\u2014still make decades later.
