But no area is more tempting than the bakery department.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">On top of the year-round heavy hitters (like the beloved Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse cake), Costco likes to keep things fresh by rotating in limited-time seasonal items. And, if member reactions are any indication, one of the warehouse\u2019s first drops of 2026 is already a strong contender for the bakery hall of fame.<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-15\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Costco debuted the Peanut Butter Monster Cookies, and fans are, understandably, freaking out over them. The soft, chewy cookie is packed with oats, peanut butter chips, chocolate chunks, and peanut butter candies. And, as if that wasn\u2019t decadent enough, Costco also uses cookie dough flavored with toasty brown butter. Each 24-count package costs $10.99, so you can feed a crowd on a budget (or keep them all for yourself, we won\u2019t judge). <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-16\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The warehouse officially announced the new launch on Instagram on Sunday, and the reviews are already flowing in. The verdict: These cookies are seriously satisfying. On TikTok, a user said, \u201cJust got these tonight and they\u2019re soooo good!\u201d Even skeptics were won over by the new treat. \u201cNot a huge PB cookie fan and these were the bomb,\u201d someone wrote on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Costco\/comments\/1q8sf7s\/peanut_butter_monster_cookie_item_2015386\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Costco\/comments\/1q8sf7s\/peanut_butter_monster_cookie_item_2015386\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"r\/Costco \" data-node-id=\"7.1\" class=\"body-link css-1i7jlb0 emevuu60\">r\/Costco <\/a>subreddit. A member on Instagram added: \u201cCostco is trying to ruin our New Year\u2019s resolution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">But, like with anything on the Internet, there have to be a few detractors. \u201cWhy does Costco put nuts in so many desserts??\u201d one Instagram user complained. \u201cNot enough variety.\u201d While some members are upset about the repetitive flavor combinations, others won\u2019t get the chance to enjoy these cookies at all. \u201cA collective \u2018well dang\u2019 for all of us with tree nut allergies,\u201d one Instagram user wrote. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">We won\u2019t know how long the Peanut Butter Monster Cookies will stay in stock. So if you want a chance to try them yourself, you should head to your local warehouse ASAP.
