\nIf you’re trying to eat a little better in January but still want your lunch to actually taste like lunch, CAVA just gave you a solid reason to switch up your usual order. The chain is kicking off 2026 with what it’s calling its biggest menu launch ever: two new bowls, a few new add-ons, and the return of a fan favorite that people have been asking about for years.<\/p>\n
The headline here is the comeback of CAVA’s white sweet potatoes. They were originally a winter menu item back in 2021, then they disappeared, and the comments to bring them back basically never stopped. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\nCava<\/span><\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n This time around, the white sweet potato is the star of two new high-protein bowls: the Spicy Lamb + Sweet Potato Bowl and the Harissa Chicken Power Bowl. The lamb bowl is the heartier one, with spicy lamb meatballs, brown rice, Power Greens, and a whole supporting cast of toppings like tzatziki, red pepper hummus, pickled onions, feta, and tahini Caesar. The chicken bowl leans sweet-meets-heat with harissa honey chicken, white sweet potato, Power Greens, Crazy Feta, skhug, and yogurt dill dressing, plus a bunch of crunchy, fresh add-ons.<\/p>\n
\n Outside the bowls, CAVA also added four new menu items, including Sumac Sour Cream + Onion Pita Chips (a limited-time drop), a Tangerine Aleppo seasonal drink, Power Greens as a new base, and a bright, crunchy Sumac Slaw. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\nCava<\/span><\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n As Ted Xenohristos, CAVA’s co-founder and chief concept officer, put it<\/a>: “These new offerings and curated bowls bring the bold, bright flavors of the Mediterranean straight to our guests, and truly elevate our entire lineup for 2026.” He added, “When your food tastes good and leaves you feeling good, that’s a win; and this menu delivers exactly that!” <\/p>\n
And CAVA is fully leaning into the return, too, with Ted calling superfans on Zoom to tell them the white sweet potatoes were coming back. Limited-edition tees are also supposed to drop later this month for anyone who wants to wear the “I asked for this” badge proudly.<\/p>\n
