This is, perhaps, one of my all-time favorite baking hacks that I picked up back in culinary school, and I have never looked back.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"heading-toc\" id=\"toc-how-to-cut-parchment-paper-for-your-round-pan\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block allrecipes-sc-block-heading mntl-sc-block-heading\"> <span class=\"mntl-sc-block-heading__text text-title-300\"> How To Cut Parchment Paper for Your Round Pan <\/span> <\/h2>\n<figure id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block allrecipes-sc-block-image mntl-sc-block-image mntl-sc-block-image--no-theme no-theme figure-landscape figure-high-res\"><figcaption id=\"mntl-figure-caption_1-0\" class=\"comp mntl-figure-caption text-utility-100 figure-article-caption\"> <span class=\"figure-article-caption-owner\"><\/p>\n<p>Dotdash Meredith Food Studios<\/p>\n<p><\/span><br \/>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ol id=\"mntl-sc-block_9-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<li>Start with a piece of parchment paper that is slightly larger than your cake pan.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Fold that piece in half, from left to right.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Fold it in half again, from top to bottom.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Now fold that paper into a triangle<\/li>\n<li>Now fold it into an even smaller triangle.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Align the tip of the triangle with the center of your pan.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Press the wide end of your triangle against the edge of your pan to make a crease.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Use your scissors to cut along that crease, through all 4 layers of paper.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Open her up and be astounded.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span class=\"heading-toc\" id=\"toc-grease-your-pan-with-butter-wrappers\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mntl-sc-block_13-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block allrecipes-sc-block-heading mntl-sc-block-heading\"> <span class=\"mntl-sc-block-heading__text text-title-300\"> Grease Your Pan With Butter Wrappers <\/span> <\/h2>\n<figure id=\"mntl-sc-block_14-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block allrecipes-sc-block-image mntl-sc-block-image mntl-sc-block-image--no-theme no-theme figure-landscape figure-high-res\"><figcaption id=\"mntl-figure-caption_2-0\" class=\"comp mntl-figure-caption text-utility-100 figure-article-caption\"> <span class=\"figure-article-caption-owner\">smartstock\/Getty Images<\/span><br \/>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_15-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> Now, if you want to take things a step further, you can take a page from my granny\u2019s book and grease your pans with your butter wrappers using your hands. She always had a zip-top bag of butter wrappers in her freezer and never bought pan spray.
