He tried a Deluxe Grilled Chicken Sandwich and a BBQ Bacon Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and his scores were <em data-node-id=\"3.1\">not<\/em> in the same zip code.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">In the video, he described the Deluxe as a grilled chicken patty topped with lettuce and tomato, and his main note is that the chicken looks <em data-node-id=\"4.3\">tiny<\/em>. His verdict: it&#8217;s &#8220;not bad,&#8221; but it leans bland, and he only felt good about it after adding hot mustard. He gave it a 6.5 out of 10, which is basically the food critic version of &#8220;I mean\u2026 I ate it, and I&#8217;m not dead.&#8221;<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-15\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<section data-embed=\"instagram\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-16\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The comments section immediately latched onto the same issue: the chicken&#8217;s size. One person wrote, &#8220;They not even trying at this point,&#8221; while another joked that &#8220;not even the hot mustard (which is incredible) can save that patty \ud83d\ude02.&#8221; A few more were blunt about how it looked on camera: &#8220;Looks dry af,&#8221; and \u201cThat ain\u2019t chicken\u2026 it looks dry and unseasoned.\u201d Another summed it up with, &#8220;Those look pretty sad. \ud83d\ude06&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Then came the BBQ Bacon version, which Snackolator says is &#8220;lightyears ahead&#8221; after one bite. This one has BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, and crispy onions, and he rated it a 9.5 out of 10. Even though he says he usually prefers crispy chicken over grilled, he&#8217;d still order this one again, which is a strong endorsement for a test item that most people can&#8217;t even find yet.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">For now, the key detail is availability, as Snackolator says these sandwiches are only showing up in a handful of Chicago-area locations so far.
