<\/p>\nMondel\u0113z has announced a voluntary recall<\/a> in the U.S. for CHIPS AHOY! Baked Bites Brookie, after the company says an incorrect mixing process led to small clumps of cornstarch forming in the product. And while “cornstarch clumps” sounds like the world\u2019s least intimidating phrase, Mondel\u0113z notes the clumps could be a choking hazard, especially for higher-risk groups like young kids and older adults. <\/p>\n
The good news: Mondel\u0113z says no injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the product so far. Still, the company is urging anyone who has the affected items not eat them and to reach out for next steps. <\/p>\n
