\nThe holiday season is the most celebratory time of year, and the best time to eat desserts with reckless abandon. From Christmas cookies to Hanukkah gelt, there\u2019s no bad time to indulge in a festive sweet treat. <\/p>\n
And America\u2019s favorite chain has apparently gotten the memo. Nothing Bundt Cakes is ringing in the holiday season with two limited-edition flavors: the returning Peppermint Chocolate Chip and the brand-new Coconut Cream Snowflake. <\/p>\n
As a team of Nothing Bundt Cakes super fans, we tasted both flavors to see which ones are worth buying this winter. Here are our unfiltered thoughts: <\/p>\n
\n Peppermint Chocolate Chip<\/h2>\n

And Nothing Bundt Cakes pairs the iconic red-and-white candy with a rich chocolate cake. Alongside crushed pieces of peppermint, this cake includes chocolate chips and a peppermint-spiked version of the standard cream cheese frosting. <\/p>\n
The flavor is good, because of course it is. However, the Peppermint Chocolate Chip isn\u2019t climbing the ranks of our favorite Nothing Bundt Cakes flavors. The texture was surprisingly heavy and dry compared to the bakery\u2019s usual cakes. <\/p>\n
Associate Editor (and Delish\u2019s resident mint chocolate connoisseur) Amanda Mactas enjoyed this cake, but found the proportions to be a bit off. Because most of the peppermint flavor is concentrated in the frosting, you need a lot of it in each bite to really get the holiday vibes. It\u2019s available at Nothing Bundt Cakes locations nationwide through January 4th, and while it’s good, we’d only say it’s worth a try if you’re a peppermint person. <\/p>\n
Coconut Cream Snowflake<\/h2>\n

And as if that wasn\u2019t enough, it\u2019s finished with Nothing Bundt Cakes’ signature cream cheese frosting. The cake is also topped with coconut flakes and adorable snowflake sprinkles to channel the holiday vibes. <\/p>\n
Somehow, this flavor manages to be even softer and moister than the rest of the bakery\u2019s lineup. And with the added creaminess of the pudding, this is the exact texture we want in a cake. It\u2019s also not overwhelmingly coconut-forward, though the chain does add a sprinkle of shredded coconut before baking. This simple addition gives the bottom of each bundt a golden, toasty macaroon flavor. <\/p>\n
Senior Editor Samantha MacAvoy says Coconut Cream Snowflake just might be her favorite Nothing Bundt Cake ever. Contributing Writer Steven Morea says it’s what he imagines the Tom Cruise Coconut Cake to taste like. (I\u2019ve tried both and, dare I say, this version is better.) <\/p>\n
