When the box arrived, I had one thought: they went for drama.<\/em> Visually, these cupcakes are stunning\u2014bright colors, glossy icing, and of course, the tiny macaron tops perched so neatly on three of the flavors. It\u2019s giving \u201cSylvie would roll her eyes, but Emily would squeal.\u201d<\/p>\n\nFlavor-wise, this is classic Baked by Melissa territory: tiny bites, bold combinations, no subtlety. But once you add a macaron shell on top of a cupcake the size of a nickel, you\u2019ve changed the whole architecture. The macaron basically becomes the main character. Think 75% macaron crunch, 25% cupcake underneath, trying its best to be heard.<\/p>\n\n\n

The flavor features a strawberry cake with Nutella inside, strawberry icing, a white macaron, and a chocolate drizzle. The Nutella adds richness, but again, the macaron is running the show.<\/p>\n
Rainbow Cookie Cupcaron<\/strong><\/h2>\nThis is the star aesthetically, the little rainbow nonpareils are adorable, and it definitely channels the Italian bakery classic. The almond cake is delicious, but the macaron shell kind of steals its thunder.<\/p>\n\n\n

It has a strong coffee flavor, sweet but not aggressively so. This one feels the most balanced.<\/p>\n
Chocolate Rose (the non-Cupcaron)<\/strong><\/h2>\nThis was the sleeper hit for me. It’s a simple chocolate cake with hot pink icing, no macaron distraction. This cupcake is clean, classic, and the only one where you can actually taste the cupcake. <\/p>\n

<\/h2>\nIf you\u2019re already a Baked by Melissa fan, this is a solid seasonal assortment. If you\u2019re an Emily in Paris<\/em> fan, this is a watch-party no-brainer or a cute gift for that friend who has strong opinions about Gabriel\u2019s restaurant storyline. <\/p>\nIs this the collab of the century? I mean… It\u2019s chaotic, pastel, and slightly impractical\u2014so Emily would absolutely approve. <\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
